Product range Nox-Rust coating

Nox-Rust 3100

Nox-Rust 3100 coating can protect metals stored outside for 5+ years. In salt spray testing, the most stringent ASTM standard for measuring corrosion protection effectiveness, Nox-Rust 3100 outperformed the competition in salt spray and humidity testing. The results prove that Nox-Rust 3100 is the best choice for protecting equipment and machinery during domestic and international shipments (sea transport).

The dry film is hard, amber/translucent and when applied to the recommended dry film thickness will protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals in protected or unprotected storage. Can be processed after 3-6 hours. Nox-Rust 3100 can be removed if necessary by solvent based thinner, steam degreasing or hot alkaline washing.

Nox-Rust 3100G

The new Nox-Rust 3100G has the same excellent corrosion protection properties as Nox-Rust 3100, in a thicker consistency that adheres to vertical surfaces. Nox-Rust 3100G adheres to metal to provide an even layer of protection on large, heavy and vertical metal surfaces. Easy to apply by spray or brush, this coating is well suited for equipment stored outdoors, ideally under a cover or tarp.

Nox-Rust 3400

This wax-based coating is also an ideal choice for 5-year exterior protection. This dry, solid, solvent-based anti-corrosion fluid protects painted surfaces during domestic and international shipments. Apply by dipping, spraying or brushing. Can be removed with solvent based thinner, steam degreasing or hot alkaline washing.

Nox-Rust 5100

Metal protection: steel; compatible with non-ferrous metals.
Outdoor corrosion protection. Dries to a black, dry, hard film. Remove with solvent/alkaline cleaner.
Complies with Mil-PRF-16173E Class 1 Class 1.
Ideal for general metal preservation, indoors or outdoors.

Nox-Rust 5200

Metal protection: steel; compatible with non-ferrous metals.

It is applied to exposed metals, unpainted metal parts. The brown, grease-like film dries as a semi-coat in 12-24 hours. Protection lasts 3-6 months for equipment stored outdoors, up to 5 years if stored indoors. Sold in buckets, barrels and aerosol cans.

Nox-Rust 5300

Metal protection: steel; compatible with non-ferrous metals.
The brown oil film displaces water and salt solutions to prevent corrosion from forming on metal surfaces in closed systems. Fully miscible with lubricating oils. Sold in buckets, barrels and aerosol cans.

Nox-Rust 8500

Metal protection: steel; compatible with non-ferrous metals.

Outer protective coating. Hard acrylic emulsion film. Water-based, transparent. Dries as a non-stick outer coating, does not collect dust or dirt. It doesn’t stain. Can be removed with soap and water up to one hour after application.

Nox-Rust 9900

A high-quality and environmentally safe protective coating for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including copper and brass. This low VOC emulsified coating contains a superior blend of inhibitors without solvents, petroleum oils or harmful chemicals. The thick clear film product can be applied by spray, dip or brush and will provide both indoor and limited protection during outdoor storage.
